My Role in Education
Through SUNY Buffalo State College I completed all of the requirements to obtain my NYS Initial Teaching Certification. I observed classrooms for two semesters and taught with a mentor teacher for an additional two semesters. My first academic year of teaching experience was through the AmeriCorp’s ABLE program in the city of Buffalo. After the conclusion of my one year contract, I signed a year long contract with the Jeju Province of Education to teach English for one academic year in South Korea.
